Community Funding Advisors provides consulting services to potential and current Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and Community Development Entities (CDEs) on all CDFI Fund programs as well as other government funding programs.

Since 2003, Community Funding Advisors has been assisting community banks, loan funds, non-profits, and venture capital firms with a mission of social enterprise and economic development/revitalization.  Community Funding Advisors offers consulting in certification and funding applications, including the development and analysis of social impacts, financial projections, product development, business development, reporting, and compliance.  Community Funding Advisors is regularly called upon by The CDFI Fund to review funding applications.

Dawn Reiff, President, founded Community Funding Advisors after her tenure as a senior staff member at The CDFI Fund.  She helped shape many of the programs offered today including the Bank Enterprise Award (BEA) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program.  Dawn has an MBA, an MS in Accounting, and a BS in Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland.
