Our Team

Jeannine Jacokes, Chief Executive Officer

Jeannine Jacokes was appointed Executive Director of Partners for the Common Good in May 2001. During her tenure, Ms. Jacokes managed the transition of PCG from a limited partnership to an independent nonprofit organization. She has built the loan fund from a startup organization to a $20 million loan fund. She brings to PCG a wealth of experience working with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and banks across the United States. She served for more than six years as a senior member of the management team at the U.S. Department of the Treasury's CDFI Fund. Created by an act of Congress in 1994, the Fund has become the nation's leading investor and funder of community-based financial intermediaries and traditional banks and thrifts engaged in development finance activities. Ms. Jacokes played a leadership role in designing and implementing the Fund's programs and establishing the systems for its operations.  Ms. Jacokes came to the CDFI Fund after serving as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs. During her five years at the Committee, she played a key role in drafting many of the laws that currently govern the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's programs, as well as monitoring and providing oversight of Federal regulatory agencies that administer laws which impact the availability of credit in underserved markets.
